James was born and raised in Plano, Texas, where he attended Collin College for 2 years. He moved to Denton for three years, both attending school and pursuing many different passions. In 2007, he began working in ministry, serving as the worship leader at Victory Tree Fellowship in Denton. In 2009, he served as Music Ministerial Intern and lead guitarist at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen. James currently resides in Fairview, and is now serving as the worship leader for the student ministry at Legacy Church in Plano. In addition, he is also a youth sports photographer for TSS Photography. James joined Alpha Omega Insurance in February 2010.
